I arrived in San Francisco Monday afternoon (due to delays and layovers, it took 12 hours to get from NYC to San Francisco, hahaha). Super thanks to Kelly and Chrissy for hosting me these first few nights! We had dinner Bi-Rite Creamery and B Star yesterday evening, posts to come soon. Shann comes in from NYC Wednesday evening! Then Monsieur P flies in on Thursday, and we'll be spending the rest of the week together.
I woke up early the next morning, and walked over to the Ferry Building. A 20-minute walk up market street, good morning exercise.
Clockwise from top:
Hog Island Sweetwater (Pacific) Tomales Bay, CA
Hog Island Kumamoto (Kumamoto) Tomales Bay, CA
Chelsea Gems (Pacific) Eld Inlet, WA
Snow Creek (Pacific) Discovery Bay, WA
Naked Cowboy (Atlantic) Long Island, NY
One day I hope to drive out to the Hog Island Oyster Farm in Marshall, CA and do the Oyster Picnic with a few friends. The same oysters are cheaper there...a good thing because I could seriously eat a lot of oysters in a seating. They go down so nicely!
Happy Tuesday :)
